We believe stories can change the world.
We make sure they do.
WHAT WE DO
Stories are the connective thread of humanity, the way we bring ideas and change into the world. It captures the heart and the mind, opening people’s eyes to things outside their lived experience, showing the humanity behind so many of the “social issues” that dominate news cycles.
Our job is to connect stories with true, long-term change.
As pioneers of the social impact entertainment space, we developed a new model of engagement that bridges the gap between entertainment and advocacy, building partner coalitions for each campaign with the goal of driving audience engagement in real-world change. Our work has touched numerous aspects of human rights and social justice, bringing hard-hitting campaigns and major celebrity engagement to issues as diverse as child slavery, campus sexual assault, ethnic cleansing, mental health, animal rights, human trafficking, food safety, refugees, climate change, and much more.
We start by building a bespoke strategy for each project, looking at the specific issues addressed in the film. We contact leading organizations and experts in the space, engaging them to develop the key calls to action and advocacy initiatives we will push during the campaign. Leading into the release of a project, we work closely with the filmmaking teams, distributor, public relations firm(s), and partner coalition to drive audiences to the film and to engage in the issues, and then we steward the campaign after release.
WHAT IS AN IMPACT CAMPAIGN?
Social impact campaigns help films move the needle on critical social, political and cultural issues by driving audience engagement and developing advocacy initiatives and calls to action based on the social issues they address.
The key to a successful impact campaign is through stewarding partnership between the film team—filmmakers, production companies and distributors—and the experts in the space—non-governmental organizations (NGOs), community-based groups (CBOs), think tanks, foundations, issue-area experts, celebrity activists, etc, resulting in audiences seeing the films, engaging in the calls to action, and leading to change.

Successful impact campaigns rely on the organizations and experts working on the front lines of any given issue-area. They are the ones most in tune with the landscape of the issues, the challenges and opportunities faced on a daily basis, the nuances crucial to the way we speak about an issue, and the actions that will be most impactful.
